I ordered a pair of Urban Layer lenses in –2.00 prescription. Unfortunately, one of the lenses was completely unusable. I tried wearing the left lens several times, but it would not stay in my eye and caused constant discomfort. I even checked to see if it might be inside out and tried both sides, but the issue remained the same.
I contacted Urban Layer’s customer support by message and email, but I did not receive any helpful or adequate response. They simply stated that it was “not possible” for the problem to be caused by the lens and provided no solution.
As a result, I am left with one defective lens, unable to use it, and unable to order a single replacement lens. I am forced to buy a whole new pair, even though Urban Layer is the only place that offers my prescription.
This experience has been disappointing, both in terms of product quality and customer service.
They are very beautiful. Love the small pupil hole.
